You can update old furniture or finish new veneer furniture to add a decorative surface with a durable tabbed material. Want to start using iron-on tabs; you should learn the process of applying it correctly to avoid mistakes

Instructions

Lay stainable wood veneer sheets directly over the surface you work on. Lay an old sheet or drop cloth over the tabs on the surface to protect the facade from direct contact with your iron. Turn on iron and put it on high heat. Smooth the entire area with your iron, press down with a moderate amount of pressure. Remove cloth or bed sheet and check the area for possible shortcomings in the bond. If there are defects, place the sheet or fabric back over the tabs and iron again. Allow the veneers to cool for 2 hours. Use a varnish saw to trim the excess tabs from the edges.
